Stationed in the Death Star hanger bay 327 command office are an Imperial Gantry Officer and his aide. After the officer is assaulted by a large Wookiee, the unfortunate aide is shot by Han Solo (disguised in Stormtrooper armor) before he can pull this blaster from it's holster.

This prop was made from a resin copy of a German broomhandle Mauser pistol.

On each side of the blaster are two model airplane engine cylinder parts. The photo above shows the gun's right side with only one cylinder part, the back one broke off (a glue outline can still be seen).

A coiled antique camera flash cord with plug was placed on the top. The exact model cord is not yet known.

This blaster is almost an exact duplicate of the Merr-Sonn Model 44, except this prop has a flash suppressor and a few additional detail parts.
