Explanation of column headings:
The letter designations were assigned by us, there's no reason for their order. The two model "A"s are similar except model A1 is a deactivated gun with cast replacement parts, hence the same letter designation. A "(2)" indicates a small variation to the version just above, these slight differences are not separate pages in the main item section.
There were many different tank telescopes used. The number designation only indicates the body style used, since we've never seen one up close to read the actual numbers.
(Note: Some scopes used had small blocks on top, probably from being mounted on special equipment. These small variations of the scopes below are not listed here due to unclear photos and lack of information.)
- M32 (matching model: M19)
- M38 1942 (matching model: M40 1942)
- M38 1943 (matching model: M40 1943)
The Hengstler box is a mechanical industrial counter. So far we've identified 2 versions used, they are distinguished by their logo. If we know the logo version used, it is indicated in the column.
- Eagle - Logo in the shape of an eagle with the number 890 down the middle.
- Eagle Hengstler - Eagle logo smaller with Hengstler name underneath.
Term used for the two cylindrical parts attached on top of the magazine receiver.
Two coiled wires that attached the cylinders to the Hengstler box.
The metal strip added on top of the gun to attach the scope.
- Angled - mount angles down 90 degrees then back up 90 degrees and is riveted to the gun just in front of the rear sight.
- Straight - mount goes straight into the rear sight. Presumably riveted directly to the sight (which is flipped forward to the 200 position).
Chrome or aluminum tape covering the shell ejection port. If we haven't seen this side of the gun or just can't tell, the column has a "?".
